| Chita City lies on the northwestern edge of Chita Peninsula where the climate is moderate year round. Our city is home to a large energy production plant along the coastline with an abundance of green hills stretching through our inland and pleasant residential streets. Only 20〜30kms or about 30 minutes by train from Nagoya, Chita is very conveniently placed in geographical terms. Due to increasing popularity as an outlying suburb of Nagoya, Chita’s population has been steadily growing and has just recently topped 84,000 people. |
